Hello,
Agree it's nice to be here,
Appreciation comes in so many ways.
Last Dec. my son moved back home from college after his last semester, he will graduate in Spring.
I did not know how much I missed having him around until after the holidays and he was waiting on jobs to come through..
He said to me, "Mom how about while I wait for the jobs I work on getting you organized and put up a art website for you." Well, it has been the best thing for my art and the best time to two of us have had in years.
It was a huge undertaking and I APPRECIATE him so much for believing in me and my artwork.

It's hard sometimes to be positive when confronted by a world with full of negative minded people; this is a good idea; I believe somebody is aware of the power of attraction; http://www.thesgrprogram.com

I appreciate my clients and clients-yet-to-be everyday. I never thought about appreciating the clients who complain until I came across this quote:
"Statistics suggest that when customers complain, business owners and managers ought to get excited about it. The complaining customer represents a huge opportunity for more business". Zig Ziglar

I believe in it is not what you say it is how you say things that matters. More things can be accomplished if people in general are shown appreciation for their efforts.

Hello everyone! I'm happy to see a discussion has begun. Andrew, I apprcieate your prompting for me to add more content. Here is my submission for today:

Act on your promptings, and reach out in kindness to other human beings. We all have the same human instinct to be appreciated. Some simple things you might do: 1. Text your significant other "Hi, I was just thinking of you."
2. Call an old friend (if done right even clients are friends) just to see how they are doing, don't talk business at all! 3. Send a Thank You or Reconnection card to someone. Maybe send a card to a client letting them know how much you appreciate them. REMEMBER...do not ask for anything. "Appreciation Wins Over Self-Promotion Every Time. This last suggestion is my favorite and what I specialize in helping business professionals do. I save them time, money and energy while helping the generate more referrals and create loyal clients. Appreciation Marketing is so highly effective, but so often ignored. It is truly ashame.

Joseph,
You can actually implement proven techniques through many systems including mine that will give you that highly personalized touch, even if it is to a large contact base. I can share how if you ever want to know.

Tell you what, I'll try to post more often. I have focused most of my online attention to Facebook. Feel free to prompt me again if I'm slacking.

I'd love to learn more about each of you. Maybe we should chat over the phone sometime?
