We will never forget! I am a 6 year veteran of the Royal NZ Air Force. I served my country with pride and to honour my Grandfather (Royal NZ Army) and Grandmother (Women's Auxiliary Air Force) who both served during WWII. To all those who have served and those who are serving THANK YOU!!! We live with the freedom we have today because of your dedication and service to protect it. THANK YOU!!!

Dear Lajon,

Thank you so much for your service to our country. I appreciate your contribution to keeping our great country safe, and your reminder that we should never forget 9/11.

My Father, who is now 88 years old, is one of the few Pearl Harbor survivors who are still with us. He was 18 years old, serving in the Marines at Pearl, standing on the shore shooting at the enemy planes when we were attacked. At the end of WW II, he went on to serve for 22 more years in the Air Force - Yep, I'm a military brat!

I am so happy to see you encouraging others in carrying the torch so that we Americans never forget that our enemies are always out there waiting to attack us - and we must all be vigilant in protecting our hard-won freedom.
